Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort
For the 2024-2025 season, is offering a free pass for seniors over the age of 80.

First timers: Please visit a ticketing location at either mountain with a valid ID to pick up your pass. You must be entered into the database to receive a pass.
Prior pass holders: If you would like to request your pass(es) be mailed to you, please fill out this form if your visiting dates are more than 14 days from your initial request.

Details:
Valid for the entirety of the 2024-2025 season
No blackout dates
Must be at least 80 years old when you pick up your pass. No exceptions.

Get a free lift ticket or even a season pass! Purchase season passes and upload your photos online, then go to any ticket window to pick it up. 
Military: Active Duty U.S. Military – Receive a free lift ticket midweek/non-peak with valid military ID. Civilian, contractors, foreign affiliates, VA, and expired IDs are not accepted. Purchase at ticket windows.

Our Silver Ski Clinics are perfect for seasoned skiers aged 50 and older, from lower intermediate to advanced levels. If you want to enjoy skiing with friends and pick up some tips, these clinics are for you. You’ll learn modern movement patterns and improve your techniques with the latest ski and snowboard technology. We offer clinics for alpine skiers, telemark skiers, and snowboarders. Join us for a fun and enriching experience on the slopes!

Participants will leave with new skills, friends, and a greater appreciation of the mountain.

Join us at 9:00 am for our weekly coffee session. We will discuss a range of engaging topics, including proper stance, upper and lower body separation, fitness, an introduction to gate training, ski equipment “tech talks,” and weather and snow conditions. After our coffee chat, we will head to the slopes to work through these discussion topics and skill progressions on the snow. Please note that topics may change based on weather conditions.

Tahoe Donner Senior Alpine Ski Club

  • The Ski Club, TDSASC, organizes over 20 group ski days at various resorts around the Tahoe basin, including: Alpine Meadows, Pallisades Tahoe, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, and Tahoe Donner.
  • Multi-day TDSASC ski trips to destinations such as Mammoth and Heavenly.
  • Other travel opportunities organized through the Far West Ski Association which can include a ski week at a designated West resort (e.g CO, UT).
  • Ski Conditioning: In the fall, the club arranges a series of ski specific pre-conditioning clinics at Trout Creek Recreation Center.
  • Winter Clinics/Races: During the season they may include: skiing improvement and racing, beginning with a two day clinic in January and a number of race events.
  • Activities: The club is active throughout the year with off-season activities including organized bike rides, kayak trips, pickleball/tennis and golf tournaments, barbeques, catered and pot-luck dinners, and specialty parties.
