If you are wondering what is happening with our local radio stations…..
We are building the new studios for KRLT-FM & KOWL-AM in the Swiss Chalet Village. As with every market I have been in, it’s important to me that the radio stations be very accessible and visible to the community. I like having “an open door policy” if someone is there the door is always open.
Since last Sunday, we have been running our programming basically playing every genre of music. However, that is not what the actual format that KRLT-FM will be. I have a format that was started in 1990 at my first radio station in Mount Snow, VT. I have used that format in every market I have had a radio station in to the delight of the communities, with also being Local, Local, Local.
The guys come out on March 4th to finish the build and if all goes well, we will be broadcasting live and with our actual format. We are focusing on KRLT-FM first. Once we are up and running for a few weeks, we plan on working with KOWL-AM. It is off the air now as it has some major technical issues. At this time, we are in the process of building a new website.
